We’re Looking for Practitioners, Not Personalities
There’s no follower threshold and no title requirement. There is a hard requirement that you have done the thing you want to write about, recently enough to be useful.
Strong Applications Usually Show
Five or more years of direct, hands-on experience in the subject, as a founder, executive, investor, technologist or specialist adviser. A defined lane you could write about ten times without repeating yourself. Two or three samples, published or not, that show you can build an argument and land it.
Beyond that we're looking for realistic room to file one original article a month, and for conflicts stated upfront. We publish plenty of people with commercial interests in what they cover; we simply need to know about them before you file, not after.

What Gets Declined
Applications submitted by an agency or a ghostwriter on behalf of an unnamed executive. Anyone treating the byline as a link-building or SEO channel. Pitches that lead with a product, a funding round or a launch rather than an idea.
Recycled work already published elsewhere, samples that show no first-hand experience of the subject, and AI-generated writing presented as your own.
Declined once isn't declined forever. If your application is turned down, you're welcome to reapply after six months with new samples. A good number of current members did exactly that.
